Inaugural Black Swan Academy Youth Leadership Summit
Sam is a tireless advocate for those who have less, but her work with kids through the Black Swan Academy is particularly impressive. Her kids adore her, as you can see in this photo, and their lives and communities are improved as a result of all the work Sam does to help these kids realize that they are kings and queens in training.
Check out the academy at http://blackswanacademy.org and if you wish to help, Sam will gladly accept any contribution you care to make, whether it be financial or the donation of some of your time and talents. Sam is a woman on a mission and she can use all the angels she can get. She's the embodiment of "be the change you want to see in the world."
Most gorgeous lady guitar player in the world. The whole world. She lent her gifts to the Leadership Summit. Just an example of how you can make a difference in the lives of others just by doing what you do.
Is this not the coolest principal you've ever seen in your life?! He runs the show at Sousa Middle School in Washington DC, where the Leadership Summit was held.
Workshop facilitators and very skilled, very brave people who gave loads of paint to a bunch of elementary school kids and somehow produced a happy result rather than a cautionary tale.
This lady was kind enough to indulge me and look at this incredible image we produced. It was a great way to end the day.
